The Equity Office:
The Equity Office has been given an expanded and exciting new mandate for the upcoming year! Four new committees have been created in order to tackle important issues facing students on the Queen’s University campus.
Application forms and more information will be readily available near September, but take a quick look at the following descriptions!
Media Literacy in Schools Committee

Plan and present interactive workshops to teach media literacy to kids at Kingston schools!
Research and Publications Committee

Increase equity awareness on campus by writing and publishing articles, blogs and other media forms!
First Lecture on Earth speaker series Committee

Plan and orchestrate the annual Equity Office First Lecture on Earth series!
Social Justice Committee
-
Raise awareness about several different equity and social justice issues throughout the year via events, outreach campaigns and other initiatives.
